I've always had problems with the cordless clippers. But then it turned out to be that I was buying cheap. It really pays to go with a proven, brand name model. Story of my life - go cheap and you get what you pay for.

I remember my mother used to cut my hair as a child in the basement of our old house, and she had a bloodthirsty set of baby blue hair clippers with a cord...I think I'm still missing part of my left earlobe as a result. These handy tools available today look like a different kind of clipper altogether. Thanks for the information!

I have a hair clipper with a cord and every time I use it on my kids, they get all tangled up in it. Maybe it's time for a cordless model now.
